KUALA LUMPUR, 29 October 2023 –UMW GRANTT International Sdn. Bhd. (“UMW GRANTT), a wholly owned subsidiary of the UMW Group, is once again the Platinum Sponsor of Southeast Asia’s biggest extreme off-road event, the 31st Borneo Safari International Off-Road Challenge (“Borneo Safari”), marking its seventh year as the Official Performance Lubricants Partner for the event. The eight-day expedition will see some 450 specially modified off-road vehicles and about 1,400 participants from various countries navigating the terrains of Tambunan and Ranau districts.

YAB Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor, the Chief Minister of Sabah, and YB Datuk Christina Liew, Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister flagged-off the event held at the Sabah Tourism Board headquarters.

UMW GRANTT will be promoting its GRANTT Quasar Diesel Engine Oil, namely GRANTT Quasar SAE 10W-40 API CI-4 Synthetic Blend and GRANTT Quasar SAE 15W-40 API CI-4 Mineral (7-litres packs) as well as its other products at the event. Concurrently, UMW GRANTT corporate vehicles that will be joining the convoy will be utilising GRANTT Quasar SAE 15W-40 API CI-4 Mineral diesel engine oil, a favourite amongst the off-road enthusiasts.
